The Child Already
Knows

Seeing the child as they actually are. Helping adults remember what they once were.

Watch a child running barefoot in a field. Not running toward something. Not running away from something. Just running — because running is complete in itself. The legs want to move, the ground is there, the air is rushing past, and that is enough. The child is not seeking anything. Not trying to achieve a state. The child is the state.

This is not innocence that needs to be protected. This is the natural expression of Shakti — the living energy of consciousness playing in itself, for no reason except the overflowing joy of expression. A child does everything for the sheer joy of doing it. A flower blooms for no reason. A river flows without a goal. This is the nature of reality itself — and children are still close enough to their true source to live it naturally.

Most adults have forgotten this. Not because something went wrong — but because the conditioning of childhood, education, and culture slowly layers over what was always there. The natural aliveness gets buried under fear, expectation, comparison, and the constant effort to become something other than what one already is.

Working with children means seeing them as they actually are — not incomplete adults, but already whole beings, already close to their natural source, already expressing their true nature in ways adults often no longer recognize. The work is to relate to them from that recognition rather than from adult fear, projection, control, or expectation.

Working with parents and educators means addressing the root: when an adult is no longer transmitting their own fear, confusion, and unlived life onto the child, the child is free to remain what they naturally are. The most important thing a parent can do for a child is do their own work.

When a grown-up reconnects with their own natural self — the same joyful Shakti the child embodies naturally — something shifts in how they relate to children. They are no longer relating from agenda, from projection, from the fear of what the child might become or not become. They meet the child on the same level. And children feel this immediately. A child trusts an adult who acts without agenda, out of real love that is not self-serving.

Through the oneness of Shiva and Shakti — through genuine recognition of what one is — compassion arises naturally. Not as a practice or an effort, but as the simple consequence of knowing yourself as the same ground the child is still living from. You feel what the child feels. You know what the child needs. And the right action — the right word, the right silence, the right touch, the right distance — happens by itself, through vibration, before the mind has had time to calculate. The child feels seen. The child feels understood. And from that — everything becomes possible.
